TREC Newsletter

The Transportation Research and Education Center (TREC) at Portland State University, is home to the National Institute for Transportation and Communities (NITC) and the Initiative for Bicycle and Pedestrian Innovation (IBPI), and other transportation programs. We produce research for transportation decision makers and support the education of current and future professionals through curriculum development and student participation in research. NITC Newsletter

The National Institute for Transportation and Communities (NITC) is one of seven U.S. Department of Transportation-funded national university transportation centers. The NITC program is a Portland State-led partnership with the University of Oregon, Oregon Institute of Technology, University of Utah, University of Arizona and University of Texas at Arlington.
