The role of the Executive Committee is to provide general guidance and campus leadership on the governance of the National Institute for Transportation and Communities (NITC) grant program. Each campus (PSU, Oregon Tech, UA, UO, UTA, and UU) has one faculty representative on the Executive Committee. The representative must be active in transportation teaching and research related to the center’s theme with a record of advising/teaching transportation students and publishing transportation research. Each campus selects their representative, using whatever process they decide.
The Executive Committee member will facilitate communication and coordination of NITC’s multi-campus mission through regular contact with the Director and other Executive Committee members.
