Joowon Im

Assistant Professor

Dr. IM is an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture. She has experience in developing and designing city comprehensive plans, landscape improvement and sustainable landscape design, and green community design internationally when she was working for landscape architecture firms in Korea and the US. Her primary research projects and interests are in creating a sustainable community and resilient environment through water and place sensitive approaches to provide the better quality of life concerning health, safety, walkability, and equal distribution of resources. She also values community outreach and engagement in the process of pursuing sustainable design application.
