Roger Lindgren

Roger Lindgren

Oregon Institute of Technology

Roger Lindgren is professor and chair of civil engineering at the Oregon Institute of Technology. He received his BS in civil engineering from the University of Alberta and his Ph.D. in civil engineering from Portland State University. Dr. Lindgren joined the faculty at Oregon Tech in 1999 and teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in transportation engineering as well as lower-division courses in engineering fundamentals. In 2015 he was named Outstanding Transportation Educator by the Institute of Transportation Engineers, Western District. His research interests include traffic flow theory, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), microscopic simulation of urban and rural traffic, as well as pavement design and construction.
